Commercial keyword research
We identified searches made by people already looking for a rental car, rather than simply researching the topic.
A new website with no search history. In the first few months, we brought priority commercial queries into the top results, then continued building and maintaining rankings in one of the most competitive niches.

When we started working with Rento, the website was a new SEO project: no established search history, stable rankings or substantial number of indexed pages.
The goal was not to target obscure, low-volume queries. The client needed traffic from the most commercially valuable searches in the niche:
Those results were already occupied by established companies with strong domains and ongoing SEO support.
One prominent competitor has been on the market since 2010. We had to build the new project’s search visibility almost from scratch.
Car rental in Chișinău is a niche where competitors constantly invest in SEO, their pages and backlink profiles. Rankings can therefore change significantly even over a short period.
Rento’s first results came relatively quickly. The harder work followed: maintaining rankings and continuing to grow.
New pages could climb and then drop back. We monitored CTR, rankings and changes in search results, refined the pages and continued strengthening the website.
Here, SEO cannot be done once and forgotten.
Our goal was not to collect as many unrelated queries as possible. We focused on commercial keywords in Russian, Romanian and English: car rental, rentals in Chișinău, the airport and related high-intent searches. Work then progressed across several areas at once.
We identified searches made by people already looking for a rental car, rather than simply researching the topic.
We refined pages to match search demand, improve query relevance and strengthen the website’s presentation in search results.
We monitored page indexing, query performance and ranking changes.
We tracked how users responded to Rento in Google results and adjusted how pages were presented.
We gradually developed external signals and domain authority.
Work did not stop after the initial optimisation. Rento continues to receive SEO support from Backstage today.

Rento was not competing against new websites. These results include car rental companies with over a decade on the market and years of accumulated search authority.
Even so, Rento moved ahead of such projects for some priority commercial searches and established a place among Google’s leading results.
This is particularly meaningful for a new SEO project that started without an established search history.

The calculation uses visits to the thank-you page after a successful form submission, rather than simple button clicks.
For us, the main result is not that an individual query once reached first place.
What matters is that organic search became a channel that consistently brings people with an existing need to the website.
A user searches for a rental car, sees Rento among the top results, visits the website and sends an enquiry.
That is why we do SEO.
In competitive search results, reaching a position does not mean the work is done.
Competitors update their websites, improve pages and keep building links. Google changes its algorithms, while user demand evolves with the market.
That is why Rento remains on ongoing SEO support with Backstage. We continue monitoring rankings, search demand and opportunities for further growth.
SEO without reports for their own sake. We work towards search visibility, qualified traffic and results for your business.
